Britney Page, MSW

Co-Founder, Therapist

269.275.1172

britney@mangatawellness.com

Britney is a therapist, educator, and movement practitioner with a unique blend of experience in teaching, the arts, clinical social work, and somatic healing. She began her career as a special education teacher where she developed a strong foundation in supporting diverse learners. Her love for movement and personal growth led her to teach dance and pursue deeper training in somatic therapy. As a therapist, Britney specializes in body-based approaches that help clients regulate their nervous system, heal from trauma, and reconnect with themselves.

Britney works primarily with women who are ready to move beyond simply functioning and begin truly feeling their lives again. Her approach is especially resonant for women who are ready for something deeper than talk therapy alone: embodied, experiential, and rooted in the wisdom the body already holds.

Britney holds a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education and English, and a Master of Social Work from Florida State University. She has completed advanced training through Layla Martin’s VITA™ Sex, Love & Relationship Coaching program, bringing an integrative lens to her work with clients.

Briefly put, this technique explores how the unconscious mind influences thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. This understanding serves as the foundation for all therapy conducted at Mångata Wellness, as we believe that meaningful healing comes from deep levels of insight and self-awareness.

Psychoanalytic

Heart-Math is a unique approach that uses biofeedback technology to help clients learn how to regulate their heart rate variability and achieve a state of physiological and emotional balance. By practicing these techniques, individuals can improve their resilience to stress, enhance their emotional wellbeing, and increase their overall sense of stability and calm.

Heart-Math

Internal Family Systems (IFS) is an evidence-based therapeutic model that views the mind as a system of different “parts,” each with its own perspective and role. At Mångata Wellness, we use IFS to help clients identify and understand these internal parts, fostering a more harmonious relationship within themselves and promoting lasting emotional healing and self-leadership.

Internal Family Systems

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a practical and goal-oriented approach that focuses on identifying and changing negative thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to emotional distress. At Mångata Wellness, we use CBT to empower clients with tangible tools and strategies to manage their symptoms, solve core problems, and improve their overall quality of life.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

The Gottman Method is a research-based approach to couples therapy that focuses on strengthening relationships by improving communication, resolving conflict, and building deeper intimacy. At Mångata Wellness, we use these proven techniques to help couples navigate challenges, increase mutual understanding, and foster a more enduring and resilient partnership.

Gottman Method

Sandtray therapy is an expressive therapeutic technique that uses a tray of sand and various small figures to help clients create symbolic representations of their internal world. This tactile and visual approach can facilitate deeper insight, emotional processing, and resolution of complex issues, making it an effective tool for both children and adults.

Sandtray Therapy

Spiritual/Meaning-Centered Therapy

Spiritual/meaning-centered therapy explores the client’s values, beliefs, and search for significance as an integral part of their healing journey. At Mångata Wellness, we honor each client’s spiritual path and help them find meaning and purpose in their experiences, fostering a deeper sense of connection and wholeness within themselves and the world around them.

Nature-based therapy utilizes the natural environment as a therapeutic setting to help clients reconnect with the world around them and improve their overall wellbeing. Whether through outdoor sessions, mindful walks, or connecting with natural elements, individuals can benefit from the restorative power of nature to reduce stress, improve their mental clarity, and foster a deeper sense of peace and connection.

Art therapy is a therapeutic technique that uses creative expression to help individuals explore their emotions, reduce stress, and improve self-awareness. At Mångata Wellness, we integrate art therapy into our sessions to provide an alternative way for clients to communicate and process their experiences when words alone may not be enough.

Art Therapy

Inner-child work is a therapeutic practice focused on addressing and healing past childhood wounds and experiences that continue to impact an individual’s adult life. Through guided exercises and reflection, our therapists help clients reconnect with their younger selves, foster self-compassion, and resolve deep-seated patterns to create a more fulfilling and authentic life.

Inner-Child Work

Play therapy is a specialized form of therapy designed specifically for children and adolescents, utilizing the natural language of play to help them process their thoughts and feelings. Our therapists create a safe and nurturing environment where young clients can express themselves, build coping skills, and work through emotional or behavioral challenges in a way that feels natural and supportive.

Play Therapy

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) is a specialized form of CBT that emphasizes the development of mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness skills. Our therapists integrate DBT techniques into their practice to help clients navigate intense emotions, reduce self-destructive behaviors, and build a more stable and meaningful life.

Multi-practitioner sessions offer a collaborative approach to therapy, allowing clients to benefit from the diverse perspectives and clinical expertise of multiple clinicians at the same time. This integrated approach can provide a more comprehensive understanding of a client’s needs and offer a wider range of strategies for achieving their therapeutic goals.

Multi-Practitioner Sessions

Mindfulness-based therapy incorporates traditional mindfulness practices into the therapeutic process to help clients develop a greater sense of presence, self-awareness, and emotional regulation. By learning to observe their thoughts and feelings without judgment, individuals can reduce stress, improve their mental clarity, and enhance their overall emotional wellbeing.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Group therapy provides a supportive and collaborative environment where individuals can connect with others who share similar experiences and challenges. Through group interaction and peer support, clients can gain new perspectives, build social skills, and foster a sense of belonging, all of which are vital components of the healing process.
